First Day Scavenger Hunt Field Trip

Use this first day scavenger hunt / in-school field trip to help your newbies get aquatinted with the school. Kindergarten can be daunting, but this will help keep them engaged and will be a great conversation piece with parents. I use this the first day. Depending on the agenda, we may take two or more days to complete this. It also depends on whether I’m just introducing them to the different specialist rooms or if they are actually going to attend. Either way, this is a great accompaniment to the first day of school in kindergarten.
