Description

Use this Ruby Bridges Black History Craftivity and Ruby Bridges Lesson Videos as a great accompaniment to Black History Month, Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Day, or cultural studies. This is also a great accompaniment to a book study on “Ruby Bridges by Ruby Bridges.”

The videos are short, sweet and to the point. They were created to teach social studies history to early learners, such as kindergarten! However, they are more than appropriate for older elementary grades. All children love making crafts and this lesson, when brought up on your computer is perfect for kids to navigate independently. Keep them busy and learning at home or in the classroom. The interactive pieces work best when you open it in Acrobat Reader. Make sure to monitor videos on YouTube or ensure kids access the videos safely. I have no control over commercials.

This would work well in a literacy or writing center! Includes props.

Includes:

  • Landing Page with Links to lesson videos and additional content
  • Ruby Bridges Craft
  • Book Props
  • Apple Props
  • Writing Templates

Hope you enjoy!
